Temasek Foundation (TF) has announced the appointment of Jennie Chua as its new chairman while Hong Kong’s private investment holding company Chow Tai Fook Enterprises has announced the appointment of three co-CEOs.

Temasek Foundation (TF) has announced the appointment of Jennie Chua as its new chairman, effective from 1 September 2024.
Jennie Chua will succeed Benny Lim, who has served as the organisation’s chairman for the past four years.
“Jennie Chua brings a wealth of experience having served at TF since its beginnings in 2007. As we welcome Jennie Chua into this role, we look forward to an exciting new chapter of growth for the organisation,” TF said in a statement.
The veteran hotelier, now 80 years old, boasts over five decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having started her career in hotels in 1971.
She was the first female general manager of Raffles Hotel in 1990, and the chief executive of Raffles Holdings – the parent company of Raffles International, which is owned by Temasek Holdings – from 2003 to 2007.
She also helmed the Ascott Group until 2012 and is a co-founder of Beeworks, the company that brought Jollibee Foods to Singapore.
Chow Tai Fook Enterprises appoints three co-CEOs
Hong Kong’s private investment holding company Chow Tai Fook Enterprises has announced the appointment of three co-chiefs, including a son of the patriarch.
Christopher Cheng is appointed as co-CEO and head of North Asia; Patrick Tsang as co-CEO and head of Americas, Australia and Europe as well as Gilbert Ho as co-CEO and head of corporate functions and operations, according to a statement.
Christopher Cheng is one of the sons of patriarch and billionaire Henry Cheng Kar-shun and the younger brother of Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, the CEO and executive vice-chairman of New World Development, one of the group companies.
“The creation of the CEO office will enable CTFE … to accelerate growth and strengthen operations,” the company said in a statement. “The three senior executives bring together diversified sector and region expertise that are instrumental for the next phase of growth of the family office.”
CTFE is part of a group of companies founded under the Chow Tai Fook name in 1929. It has strategic investments across various sectors, including real estate and hospitality, jewellery, infrastructure, energy, healthcare and insurance, education, and media.
