Miko has raised $2.5 million in a new funding round; Pilgrim has secured about $9 million in an extended Series B round; and ODA Class has bagged $500,000 in its Series B round.
Miko raises $2.5m funding
Robotics firm Miko has raised $2.5 million (Rs 20.5 crore) in a new funding round from a group of angel investors, Entrackr reported.
The Miko board has passed a special resolution to issue 679 Series C CCPS [compulsorily convertible preference shares] at an issue price of Rs 3,02,695 each to raise the aforementioned amount, the report said citing the company’s regulatory filing with the Registrar of Companies.
Moneycrew Fintech injected Rs 4.5 crore, while the rest was contributed by angel investors including Amrapali B Doshi, Sanjiv Sarita, Amit Jain, Satyam Sinha, Inderjit Kaur Arora, and others.
Pilgrim bags $9m in Series B+ round
Beauty and personal care D2C firm Pilgrim has raised about $9 million (Rs 75 crore) in an extended Series B round led by Fireside and Vertex Ventures.
Fireside and Vertex Ventures have infused Rs 25 crore and Rs 23 crore, respectively, while NSFO Ventures, Mirabilis Investment, and NABS Vriddhi cumulatively invested Rs 27 crore, Entrackr reported.
The company will use the funding proceeds for expansion and general corporate purposes.
Founded in 2019 by the IIT alumni duo Anurag Kedia and Gagandeep Makker, Pilgrim claims to offer more than 90 stock-keeping units across face care, haircare, and skincare products, and fragrances in over 25,000 pin codes. It offers a wide range of products curated with ingredients from France, Korea, Spain, Australia, the Amazon Rainforest, and Swiss glaciers.
ODA Class secures $500K in Series B
ODA Class has raised $500K in its Series B round from Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Hong Kong-based Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China.
With the latest financing, the company’s total funding stands at $12.75 million.
“With the latest funding, we are well-positioned to enhance our technological capabilities. Our focus on AI integration and digital marketing will lead us towards achieving our goal of providing accessible and quality education to students across the country,” said Neeraj Kumar, Finance Head, ODA Class.
The company had raised $9 million in 2021, $3 million in 2022 and $2,50,000 in 2023.
